Dr. (Smt.) Bhavana Gaur took over charge as Head Department of Botany and was responsible for following developments in the department –
- Establishment of Tissue Culture Lab in the Botany Department (2007-08)
- Development of Physiology Lab (2007-2008)
- Establishment of Research Lab (2007-08) R.G. (P.G.) College, Meerut.
- Effort to get Botany Department approved as Research Centre (2008-09) from C.C.S. University, Meerut. Application has been given.
