• Departmental annual Magazine –‘Kala Darpan’
• Educational Tours are taken every year to different Art Galleries and Museums, which develop student’s knowledge of Indian & Modern history and helps them in understanding original Art pieces in better perspective.
• Scenes from Indian miniature paintings and land marks of Indian Sculptures are depicted as exact replicas by the students in various cultural programmes on stage. This was highly appreciated by prominent personalities nation wide.
• Recognition brought to the department by the teachers who participate regularly in national and state level exhibitions, workshops and seminars.

• Department Association-‘Chitrakala Parishad’ Competitions like poster making, calage making, candle decoration, Alpana/Rangoli, Portrat making, Quiz, Demonstrations, workshops and seminars etc. are held under its banner. Besides all this, the Parishad under takes many other jobs like-
• Regular guidance to students – vocational training in various art to make it easy for them to stand on their feet and earn their living.
• Handmade artistic pieces, paintings and greeting cards are sold on the occasion of Holi, Diwali, Dushera and New Year.
• Art Exhibition is hold every year in the college by students & teachers of the department. |
