MUSEUM
History Museum established in College Campus under the patronship of
Dr. Madhu Mittal, Principal, R.G. (P.G.) College, Meerut in Sept. 2003. It was inaugurated on 26th January 2004 by, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr. R.P. Singh, C.C.S. University, Meerut.
The Museum has in its possession:
- A rich collection of Plaster Casts representing regions, Schools of sculpture and period dated earliest times to 19th Century A.D. (Collected from various Museums).
- Archaeological Material of historical significance (Finds from various Sites of Delhi, U.P., Haryana, Rajasthan & others).
- Rare Manuscript Paintings of 16th Cen. To 18th Cen. A.D.
- Rare Painting of Buddhist Art of China.
- Indian Coins from 2nd Cen. B.C. to early 20th Cen. A.D.
- Indian Paintings from 600 A.D. to 1900 A.D. (Replicas : Ajanta, Mughal, Rajasthani, Pahari & Deccan, Manuscript Paintings & Illustrated Texts).
- Charts & Photographs, depicting historical sites, images, artifacts, Inscriptions, coins, Arms & Armour, Jewellery etc.
